Statement: GHAMRO Partners The Taste Of Afrika, An Initiative To Support African Musicians

The Taste of Afrika is a movement geared towards the unification of musicians in our part of the world (Africa) basically to make a significant impact in the world of music.

As the saying goes, “one who climbs a good tree always gets a push. Therefore, no wonder Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) has expressed interest to partner “The Taste of Afrika” movement to help project music made in our part of the continent to the rest of the world.

Like earlier said, it’s obvious GHAMRO who’re responsible for the collection and distribution of royalties to Ghanaian musicians and all other creative workers inclusive have seen the good side of The Taste of Afrika initiative and that has been the reason for this partnership.

Per the communique released by GHAMRO to tell the world about their partnership with The Taste of Afrika, they humbly appealed to other cooperate organisations as well as able individuals who have the entertainment industry at heart to come on board as partners as well to support the good course.

The official launch of “The Taste of Afrika” is slated for Saturday, September 21, 2019, at an adaptive venue yet to be communicated by The Taste of Afrika and GHAMRO in consultation with Ghana Tourism Authority. More importantly, we will keep you updated before the official launch of the biggest upcoming African music festival.
