Days after successfully premiering his brand new controversial single, ‘Cassava’, budding highlife artiste Assanqoma has released the official video for the song.

The video, directed by Loraa White of Budget Music Videos – together with Kofi Awuah – and shot in the UK and Ghana, is a masterpiece and exhibits the effort put in by the artiste and his management, Gye Nyame Entertainment.

‘Cassava’ is the first single released by Assanqoma under his new record label.

In an interview with Mr. Root Eye on Saturday — during the Gh Entertainment show — Assanqoma said the song is “a bible related song that talks about forgiveness and compensation in relationships,” contrary to popular misconception that it’s a sugar-coated profane song.

‘Cassava’ features Baby Acheampong, another talented vocalist.
