A Ghanaian man unable to deal with a broken heart has threatened to commit suicide unless his wife comes back to him.
The man has thus climbed the statue at Obetsebi Lamptey Circle this early morning.

Joy Fm reporters spotted him on the statue and have taken photos which have since become a hot topic on social media.
The reporter wrote: “A man has climbed a tall statute at obetsebi lamptey circle and is threatening to commit suicide because the wife has left him.”
He looks like he’s ‘chilling’ up there, doesn’t he? Everyone’s got problems in this crazy country of ours and losing a wife is not even in the top 100 of Gh problems.
Hopefully, authorities get there and get him down but this is the most frivolous reason to attempt suicide I ever heard.
