Veteran Ghanaian disc jockey, considered one of the best in the business, DJ Black, has responded to critics of his highly debatable list of top 50 Ghanaian rappers.
According to DJ Black, the list is his own creation based on his own criteria, so those who disagree can create theirs with their own criteria.

DJ Black sparked social media debate when he released his top 50 rappers list. The list was topped by Obrafour, Sarkodie and Okyeame Kwame.
Responding to those not happy to the list, he had a simple rebuttal.
“This list is in my order so it’s my choice. It is based on their skill, dexterity and of course, most of these artistes have freestyled in front of me before so that’s how I got my list,” he said.
“Other people creating their lists will generate a needed conversation in the industry.” he added.
