Stonebwoy really ‘shocked fans’, if I may say so, with a recent claim that Ghanaian bloggers aren’t showing enough support to him.
Honestly, due to Shatta Wale’s behaviour over the years, many Ghanaian bloggers have gravitated towards Stonebwoy, at least until his recent behaviour of pulling out a gun at a public show. He couldn’t ask for more support.
However, Stonebwoy decided to hit out at bloggers recently, expressing shock that one asked to charge him to carry some news about him.
He tweeted: “Just had a convo with one blogger… it’s interesting to know that if it’s positive news you have to pay but it’s bad news. they’ll push it for free! And why didn’t you travel with a publicist!! Asem o….”
Business is business, and when it comes down to it everyone has to feed themselves and their employees, so Stonebwoy expecting others to do free stuff for him when he doesn’t is wildly unrealistic.
He has already been slammed for that tweet but entertainment pundit and music producer Mr Logic has more harsh words for him.
Speaking on the issue, he slammed Stonebwoy for being hypocritical considering he charges the public and event organizers for shows but expects others to do stuff for him for free.
“Stonebwoy complains too much. He should pay the blogger, the complaint is too much. Don’t complain. Whether positive or negative, pay them for their work,” Mr Logic opined.
“He also charges for his shows, why should bloggers also talk about him for free? Bloggers are also working, they don’t run a charity.”
He added: ”I don’t know the kind of support Stonebwoy needs again. When he releases something, it flies. It was an agenda by the media to support him. He shouldn’t be crying for support anymore. The young ones should be crying for support. What support does he needs again?”
