Is Wendy Shay Telling Us She’s Broke Even Though She Lived And Worked In Germany As A Nurse?

Whether you are working, unemployed or begging in abroad, here in Ghana most of us think once you are living your life outside our shores, you should be wealthy.

Rumours started circulating on social media that Rufftown Records’ signee, Wendy Shay is going back to her nursing field in Germany after she posted some throwback pictures of herself on social media.

According to Wendy Shay, she posted those pictures just to remind herself of how far she has come.

“My house got burnt, and I was reminiscing. I was thinking about everything that I went through. I saw that picture, and I was like wow, this is an inspirational picture because I remember when I used to do this work I had to wake up around 4 am to chase trains.

She also added that the fact that she lived and worked in Germany as a nurse doesn’t mean she is rich.

“That I lived in Germany didn’t mean that I was living in gold or that I had so much money. I was a nurse, but I still had to hustle.

“When I look back and I look at my life now I feel like God has done so much for me so I just wanted to take that opportunity to say thank you to God, Bullet and the Shay Gang and everybody who has helped me this far so I wasn’t trying to say I’ve stopped music or anything like that. I was trying to be grateful cos I really have gone through a lot and God has put me through.”
