There are a few footballers in history whose career is about as nomadic as it can get, changing clubs almost every other year.
The most famous of such footballers was Nicholas Anelka, and in recent years Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has gained the same kind of reputation.
The former Black Stars midfielder has completed yet another career transfer move, this time from Sassuolo to Fiorentina in Italy’s Serie A; joining his 3rd team in just seven months.
Boateng joined Barcelona on a 6-month loan deal in January, returned to Sassuolo at the end of the season and now moves to Tuscany to play for Fiorentina.
He has put pen to paper on a 2-year deal, with his new club paying Sassuolo a €1m transfer fee.
Fiorentina is just the latest step in Boateng’s nomadic career which has included playing for Tottenham Hotspurs, Portsmouth, Hertha Berlin, Eintracht Frankfurt, Las Palmas, Barcelona, Sassuolo and A.C Milan, among others.
