Music producer and showbiz pundit, David Bolton, has revealed that there are numerous celebrities walking around town getting accolades from Ghanaians whilst being as broke as a church mouse.
According to him, fame and riches don’t always go together as much as people think.
He was speaking on Daybreak Hitz earlier today.
“More often than not, people can be famous, walk down the street and they would be noticed by almost everyone, but maybe, they do not have even GHC 50 in their pockets,” Bolton said.
“Once you become so popular, you may not be able to approach people to tell them your problems.”
Bolton later added that musicians have to branch out into other businesses to make ends meet because they cannot survive on music alone, even the veteran ones who are so popular and legendary.
