Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold Ghana, Nana Appiah Mensah, is finally a free man after months of legal wrangling in both the United Arab Emirates and down here in Ghana.

At his second court date today, the embattled businessman was granted bail.

Nana Appiah Mensah was granted bail in the sum of GH¢ 1 billion with five sureties, three to be justified.

As part of his release, he is expected to present himself to the police every Wednesday.

Nana Appiah Mensah is standing trial on several counts stemming from the operations of his gold dealing firm Menzgold. He has constantly denied all charges and maintains he’s being persecuted.
