He started that lyrical battle, a battle that was more than he could bear and unsurprisingly he was murdered. He was silenced for months but still, he feels the pains he sustained in that battle. The case of Shatta Wale and Sarkodie. Shatta Wale still remembers the pain Sarkodie inflicted on him with that “My Advice” diss track.
There’s an adage that ‘the silence of a cat is not timidity but rather a strategy to attack its prey’. Shatta Wale tried his maximum best to stay far away from Sarkodie ever since Sarkodie murdered him, but the truth is he was looking for the right time to attack diss him back.
Shatta Wale is currently bouncing on Sarkodie after he (Sarkodie) congratulated him on his Beyonce collaboration.
In a recent interview on Vibe in 5 with Arnold Alavanyo Mensah, Shatta Wale noted that Sarkodie is one arrogant dude who lacks respect for people who were in the industry even before he, (Sarkodie) joined.
“I don’t rate Sarkodie, he wasn’t my friend back then, we just met in the same classroom. I don’t love people who brag, someone feels he’s always right. He feels he can advise a man like Bandana who was there before he came out.”
“For Sarkodie to meet me at Ghana Meets Naija Concert with Bulldog and come to me that he wants to advise me, It means you don’t respect, He used to call me to produce him and that he wants to be big like me. He’s very blind to say he’s advising me”, he said.
