My Girlfriends Can Only Call My Husband on His Birthday – Says ‘Jealousy Mama’ Funke Akindele

It’s a valid and age old question in marriages, how much contact do you have with members of the opposite sex?

For Nigerian actress Funke Akindele, the amount of contact she allows her husband to have with her female friends is very minimal.

According to her, she sees no reason why any of her female friends should call or text her husband so she doesn’t allow it, and the only time she allows such contact is on his birthday.

“For me, personal space is personal space. Your best friend has to stay in her lane. Your friend can come to your house, your husband can know your best friend, he can say hello but why would she be calling my husband on the phone? Except its his birthday,” she said.

Akindele is married to JJC Skillz, and they welcomed a set of twins last year.

As an old Ghanaian saying goes, ‘the ant that bites you comes from your cloth’. Akindele is hot on the search for husband snatchers and won’t allow them the chance to do their job lol.
