‘There’s No Rap Or Dancehall Music Without Beef’ — Kelvyn Boy

Uprising Burniton Music Group’s signed Dancehall artiste, Kelvyn Boy has opined that Dancehall and rap music evolved from ‘beef’.

He stressed that if an entertainment industry will be heated or active, kinds of ‘beef’ and compositions among artiste in the industry play a vital role.

“I think dancehall music particularly was built on competitions and beefs,” Kelvyn stated this in a recent interview.

“Some things are not being done right. We are lost as an industry because we don’t even have Afrobeat in our category.”
