When Patapaa is Trolled It’s Fine But When Wendy Shay is Trolled It’s ‘Cyber Bullying’ – Ghanaians Slam Hypocritical Female Celebs on Twitter

A couple of days ago, Wendy Shay shared a pretty unremarkable dolled up photo of herself which has somehow managed to stay in the news for three days straight.

The photo led to some trolling of Wendy Shay, and subsequently some female celebs deciding to gang up and block anyone who trolls them.

Bridget Otoo, who started the blocking movement, said Ghanaians were cyberbullying Wendy Shay and could do it to someone else next, so she called on celebs such as Nana Aba Anamoah, Yvonne Nelson, John Dumelo and others to gang together and block anyone who trolls any one of them.

However, Ghanaians are not buying her cyberbullying claim for even one second. Otoo and her colleagues have been accused of hypocrisy for never calling for such a movement when other male celebs were trolled.

Patapaa has been trolled for his looks, and for many other reasons, multiple times, and Wale is still called ‘Gbee Naabu’ to this day, yet none of them has been tagged as victims of cyberbullying.

On twitter, some Ghanaians are slamming the female celebs for bias and hypocrisy on the issue.
