The stupidest thing you can do in your life is look at what anyone is doing on social media and compare it to your life.
If that’s your philosophy in life then sorry but you’re going to die of depression.
Social media is an artificial construct on which we all live the lives we want irrespective of reality.
Just look at Blessing Okoro’s recent humiliation for posting someone else’s house as hers, or Afia Schwar some years back who was suffering in her marriage but came online every day to praise her hubby Abrokwah and claim other ladies are jealous of her.
This same social media has put pressure on these our celebrities to pretend to live a certain class of life which does not correspond to the reality of our dead industries, forcing some of them into the ashawo business to fund their lifestyles.
Actress Ama K. Abebrese has exposed most of her fellow celebs and these so-called ‘slay queens’ over the kind of lives they actually live in comparison to what is displayed on social media.
According to her, don’t worry yourself when you see someone in expensive dresses or shoes because most at times they are simply rented and would be returned immediately after use.
“I know some ladies who borrow shoes and clothes to take pictures on social media and return them when they are done with what they wanted to use them for,” she said.
Ama K. also cautioned against uploading erotic photos and videos online, warning that something like that can follow you all your life.

“You can be having fun today but in some years to come when you want to take up a job, that is when your videos or whatever you did will be played back to you.
‘Do whatever you are comfortable with but be careful what goes out there,” she added.
