The case of Bro. Sammy and his miracle water should end in a very humiliating manner for the gospel artist if things go as expected and no corruption enters the process.
The gospel singer, a fraud boy trying to deprive Ghanaians of their money with a supposed miracle cure for all ailments, was arrested over the weekend for advertizing an untested drug.
He has since been released on bail and according to the FDA, faces 15 years in jail if found guilty.
He could also be fined a minimum of Ghc 90,000.
Speaking after his release, Bro. Sammy revealed the FDA has taken samples of his so-called drug for testing.
That is bound to end in disgrace for the singer, all things being equal. There’s no way any scientific proof of the healing powers of that water which he creates in his room at midnight is going to be found.
Hopefully, he’ll get what he deserves, to be humiliated when his water’s efficacy remains unproven.
Knowing Ghanaians, some desperate people would still patronize it but hopefully, the FDA warning would push more people away from such an obvious charlatan.
We await further developments in the case.
