It has been reported that the most talked about Kumasi based gospel singer, Brother Sammy has been arrested by the Food and Drugs Authority with the assistance of Ashanti Regional Police for claiming he has medicine that cures HIV/AIDS.
The CEO of FDA, Delese Darko revealed in a statement that Brother Sammy was arrested because he has been spreading news in Ghana that he has medicine that can cure HIV/AIDS, Hyperthesis B and so on adding that the said medicine hasn’t been tested and approved by the Authority.

“The FDA wishes to inform the general public that it has not registered any product for the cure of HIV/AIDS neither has any approval been given to the said artiste for the production and sale at any FDA regulated product,” the statement said.
