A few weeks ago, Medikal aka Sowotuom Jay-Z ‘stepped on the balls of Ghanaians’ with a post he made on his Twitter handle after he labelled himself as the saviour of Ghanaian rap music.
Most of them felt the young rapper didn’t give respect to his ‘elder brothers’ who have been rapping in Ghana for years even before he completed his basic school and therefore must apologize to them.

However, M.anifest, one of our A-listed ‘killer’ rappers has reacted to this ongoing brouhaha.
According to M.anifest, respect must be given to those who respect you because ‘it’s a give and take something.’
From my point of view, M.anifest is trying to send a message to Medikal not to disrespect them because they have given him the maximum respect he deserves.
“respect is reciprocal…” he Twitted.
