Foolish Case in the Making – Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy Make Second Court Appearance, Case Adjourned

The court should just throw the case out already and save everyone some time and money because we all know where this is going to end up.

A month after their first appearance, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy made their second court appearance today and it didn’t go any better than the first time.

As is usual of local cases, the police asked for more time, the judge acquiesced and the case was adjourned.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are standing trial for their part in the confusion caused during the 2019 edition of the Vodafone Ghana music awards ceremony.

Whilst Stonebwoy was receiving an award on the stage, Shatta Wale and his cohorts rushed the stage, causing a commotion during which Stonebwoy drew a gun.

The two were arrested and granted bail before later being arraigned before court. Both dancehall stars are facing charges of offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, whilst Stonebwoy faces an additional charge of displaying a firearm in public without permission.

At today’s court date, the prosecution asked for more time to make their case and the trial was adjourned to July 16th.

You heard it here first, this is the pattern you should get used to until the case naturally falls apart.
