Founding Editor of GhanaCelebrities.Com, Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri, has made a pretty irrefutable comment about the slay queen generation and their love for money.
As we reported yesterday, a proud member of that generation, former wife of Black Stars footballer Abdul Majeed Waris, was complaining about how her marriage to Waris did not go as well as she had hoped for.
As Chris put it, she married for gold only to find herself digging for charcoal.

Habiba Sinare is hardly the only lady who married a footballer for his riches, as many other similar ‘slay queens’ do same, no matter how uneducated said footballer is.
Writing about that phenomenon, Chris-Vincent said after they follow money to marry these footballers, these ladies then act surprised when they don’t treat them well.
Read his comment below…
“His family is no body family, he is an illiterate and below my standard, yet I married him. I left medical school to get married to him but he left me and his family thought I was in for his money’, said Black Star player, Majeed Warris’ wife in a recent interview.
Now that I have dished out my anger in relation to her level of absurdity and fully convinced that she is a gold digger who ended up digging charcoal instead of her intended gold, let’s look at these Ghanaian footballers for a minute.
They are somewhat equally stupid: women who wouldn’t normally even talk to them but for their money are the ones they actually marry or date all the time.
Do you remember the infamous “monkey” statement? It’s a trend that never ends.
These footballers are always certainly uneducated and not polished, yet they want the finest and educated girls in town.
These girls who also want nothing but money, will go in to better their lives and be called wives and girlfriends of footballers.

It’s a matter of two sets of scammers. They deserve each other.
And almost always, the families of these footballers will be against the women—as they are able to see through the scam of these girls. Muntari’s mother and Menaye allegedly still live like cat and mouse.
If money grew on trees, these women would marry monkeys—I swear!”
