It’s been almost a month since the legendary Highlife artiste, Amakye Dede crowned his ‘son’ Kuami Eugene as the king of High-life music at the VGMA auditorium but still, some people keep talking about it.

Ailing Ghanaian High-life artiste, Dada Hafco in an interview on Cape 93.3FM questioned Amakye Dede on why he turned the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards night into a ‘coronation night’.

“Daddy Lumba has 23 albums with quality songs, however, he has not been crowned as king of Highlife.”

“Kuami Eugene is just two years in the game with just an album to his credit. So, what was the motive behind the whole coronation on the night?”, Dada Hafco quizzed.
