In the view of the lawyers of the MP, Ms. Appoh had by the action sought to give the controversial showbiz personality the opportunity to prove her allegations before court.

However, close associates of the MP, family, constituents as well as politicians across the political divide disagree with her choice of action due to one reason only – they argue that Afia Schwar does not merit the attention of the MP.

According to them, Ms. Appoh towers above the pettiness of Afia and as such ought not to waste her time, energy and resources on her.

Meanwhile, the Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is set to invite Appiah Stadium to assist in investigating a charge of invasion of privacy lodged against him by the former legislator.

Appiah stadium had reportedly called Ms Appoh on phone using former president John Dramani Mahama’s name, recorded the conversation and allegedly sold it to Afia Schwar for GHC1,000.
