Sometimes it seems like Ghanaians do not know exactly what we want in this life. For years Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale were beefing and everyone said a solution was needed, and now that there’s a solution some are calling for a return to the status quo.
Both artists have become somewhat boring since the beef ended and perhaps they need each other to remain relevant.
That’s exactly the kind of point being made by veteran rapper Ex-Doe. An ‘old timer’ who had one of Ghana’s most memorable beefs with Chicago back in the day, Ex-Doe says Wale and Stonebwoy can continue their beef but it has to be lyrical rather than physical.
According to him, they can also diss each other but in a clever way and not simply lobbing direct insults.
“We can have fun with the diss songs but they must be creative. Don’t go direct because if that’s all there is to it anybody could do it,” he said.

Now that this beef is over it seems neither of them can make headlines anymore unless they do something embarrassing like Stonebwoy allegedly went through in Kenya.
Perhaps, Wale and Stonebwoy need each other much more than they realize.
