The Only Useful Thing Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy Can Do For Ghana Is to Become Sanitation Ambassadors – Prof. Akosa Confirms Chris-Vincent’s Idea

For the past two or three weeks, we’ve heard enough about these two dancehall stars to last a lifetime.

Wale and Stonebwoy took over the entire country after their dangerous behaviour at the VGMA awards night, trending nonstop for a whole fortnight.

Since they signed a peace pact, however, things have died down and they’ve gone out of the news cycle, confirming the adage that negative news really sells.

Now that they’re no longer fighting, interest in their activities has gone down significantly.

Anyway, Prof. Badu Agyemang Akosa, a Ghanaian politician and doctor has called for the two artists to be put to use by the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) as sanitation Ambassadors.

It would be recalled that GhanaCelebrities.Com‘s Founding Editor Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri said the two artists should be put to work sweeping Makola or weeding Achimota forest instead of holding a peace concert to make money out of.

In a similar vein, Prof. Akosa, in a conversation with students at the Nima Cluster of Schools, said the two should be put to use as sanitation ambassadors.

“So, if you can imagine Shatta, Stonebwoy, two of them, and they are telling children of this country that: ‘Hey, if we can begin to package all the litter that we all produce, then this country will have a very clean environment. There’ll be no flies, there’ll be no germs, there’ll be no disease, the air will be clean and all of us will grow to become very responsible citizens’, so says Shatta Wale and so says Stonebwoy.

“So, Shatta Wale of the Shatta Movement and Stonebwoy of the Bhim Nation, they will be speaking to all you young people of this country, will that not be a good thing?,” Akosa rhetorically asked.
