On Friday, June 7th 2019, self-proclaimed ‘dancehall king’ Shatta Wale was officially handed that title after he was enskinned as a chief in Tamale.
Wale was named ‘dancehall Naa’ (Dancehall King or Overlord) by the Chief of Tamale.
The enskinment occurred ahead of Wale holding a concert with Maccasio at the Tamale sports stadium tonight.
After posting a video of himself receiving the honour on social media, Black Stars general captain and friend of the dancehall star, Asamoah Gyan, took it upon himself to mock Wale.
Wale was shown chewing some kola in the video and Asamoah Gyan in the comments section, asked him what it tastes like.
Gyan wrote: “Kw333. How be the cola ? @shattawalenima 😂😂😂😂😂”

As at press time, Wale has yet to reply to this humorous ribbing by Gyan.
