Nana Akuffo Addo‘s Vancouver comment on women activists has triggered anger in most Ghanaians, especially women as they keep blasting him.
They believe the President has disrespected Ghanaian women and, therefore, should render apologies to the general public for riding on Ghanaian women.
Anyway not everyone in Ghana is against what the President said, others are also defending him. One of them is the Editor-in-Chief of New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul-Malik Kwaku Baako.
According to Kwaku Baako, the President may be wrong for what he said but he was only expressing his opinion based on the things he’s seen.

“Don’t ask a person who says this to render an apology. He expressed his views which is backed by some empirical evidence. He may be wrong, so you attack that judgment. There is no basis for an apology in expressing this view which is a political view. If you are talking about women not doing enough, I think there is nothing wrong with that.”, he said in a recent submission.
