Charterhouse’s Head of Productions Nii Ayite Hammond Reportedly Steps Down

A shakeup has hit the event production company Charterhouse as head of productions, Nii Ayite Hammond, has reportedly stepped down.

Hammond, who has spent nearly two decades at the company, is reportedly stepping down to take a new role at a new tv station.

The timing of his resignation has drawn attention considering Charterhouse is currently at the centre of a storm after the shambolic 20th anniversary edition which ended in violence between Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and their entourages.

Whilst they have banned both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy indefinitely, many believe they deserve much of the blame for what happened due to lax security.

Anyway, Hammond is stepping down to join a new television station known as Hope TV, a channel owned by the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church.

During a 17 year stay at Charterhouse, Hammond was instrumental in almost every VGMA awards night, as well as playing a key role in other shows including Miss Malaika, It Takes 2, Agoro and others.
