The Real REASON Kelvynboy Snubbed Wendy Shay Revealed

Whilst Tuesday was supposed to be the day of both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy and their attempt to work things out between them, it ended up being partly about another duo of artists.

Kelvynboy memorably snubbed Wendy Shay as she tried to hug him. In a video which went viral after the show, it could clearly be seen that Shay made an attempt to exchange pleasantries with Kelvynboy but he pretended she doesn’t exist and he moved on to greet the others.

Her face immediately turned black in anger whilst Kelvynboy moved on.

The viral video has drawn a response from the BHIM signed artist, who claims he did not intentionally snub Shay but he was just in a hurry to get in line for the photos.

Yet anyone who watched the video would see that Kelvynboy managed to greet everyone in the line apart from Wendy, even though he claims he was in a hurry, his actions definitely look intentional and pre-planned.

Whilst Ghanaians try to decipher why he took that action, a simple reason actually exists which makes the most sense – professional jealousy.

Kelvynboy was up for Best New Artist of the Year award during the 2019 VGMAs alongside Wendy Shay and she won the award.

After the awards, Kelvynboy came out to claim he wasn’t bothered about losing the award to Shay because ‘she needed it more’, but it’s obvious that is still in his heart.
