Former feuding dancehall foes turned ‘partners’, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, are ‘begging’ for a new chance to enter the VGMA awards.
The two, speaking at their ‘peace’ press conference held earlier today, said they are ready to work with Charterhouse once again if their indefinite bans from the annual awards show is lifted.
“We are willing and open to work with whoever is ready to work with us. If they do lift the ban, we are willing to work as professionals and we will do things right,” Stonebwoy said.
“It is only human, we are not perfect, and as humans we will keep trying to get to the top and for the peace between us to last. Peace is key in everything.”
Both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy were banned indefinitely from the VGMAs after their confrontation at the 2019 edition of the awards which ended with a gun being drawn.
That confrontation seems to have finally sparked a peace process which culminated with today’s press conference.
With peace now secured, the two are calling for Charterhouse to have mercy on them and readmit them into the scheme.
