Highlife Would Have Been Lost Had It Not Been Kuami Eugene- Lucky Mensah

The question of whether or not Lynxx Entertainment signee Kuami Eugene deserves to be the King of Highlife music has been on the lips of many even after the legendary Amakye Dede had bestowed the title on his head.

People have asked who made Amakye Dede the king in the first place to be sharing accolades to deserving artists but the Wahaali hitmaker has told Ghanaians and the world that, he is deserving of it and more since he has been able to win Highlife Artiste of the year twice in a row.

It looks like Amakye Dede is not the only one who believes the genre would have lost its essence had it not been Eugene. In the latest interview, the musician cum breadmaker says Eugene is doing well and it would have been a drastic end to high life had it not been him.

He told Doctar Cann on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra; “if not for Kuami Eugene and co, like Ghanaian highlife would have been dead in the system.”
