Shatta Wale Once Again Absent at the Funeral of His ‘Loyal Soldier’ Junior U.S

The final funeral rites for the late Nana Opoku, aka Junior U.S, were held today, June 1st 2019, at Antoa Abira in the Ashanti Region.

The funeral was a tragic affair as his family and friends gathered to lay their late relative to rest.

Before Junior’s funeral down here, his family in the U.S held a viewing for his body which generated intense headlines because Shatta Wale, who claimed to be a good buddy to Junior, failed to attend.

Pope Skinny and others who attended the Philadelphia viewing slammed Shatta Wale for neglecting his friend but at least we hoped when the funeral came to Ghana Shatta would endeavour to attend.

Junior was buried today and from all reports at the funeral grounds, Shatta Wale was a no-show.

After Junior’s death, Shatta took to social media to cry his eyes out in sorrow at his murdered brother, but apparently, he cannot make a little time out of his ‘busy’ schedule to see his brother’s last day on earth.

Perhaps he’s planning a follow-up visit to his family but seeing him buried should be the least he can do.

Writing condolences on social media is easy, but showing up at a funeral seems to be where Wale draws the line.

Very disappointing behaviour from a man who claims his movement is 4LYF.
