Volta Regional rap King, Ayigbe Edem has descended on the organizers of Vodafone Ghana Music Wards, Charterhouse for banning Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy and ‘unreasonably’ stripping them off the awards given to them at the 20th Editio of the event.
According to Edem, Charterhouse punishments for these two artistes were too harsh adding that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy should not return the awards because it was their loyal fans who used their money to vote for them.
“Charter House only came with harsh conditions to punish Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale. Because if you are telling me to bring the awards won back (which were voted for/invested in by my fans), what are you also giving me back in return for the damages or incidents that happened on the night.”
“I am not saying what happened on the night was right; it’s not right, but if I were to be Stonebwoy or Wale, I won’t return any plaque to Charterhouse,” Edem said this on GHOne TV.
