Major Maxwell Adams Mahama of 5th Infantry Battalion, left this cruel world on 29th May 2017, after the people of Denkyira Obuasi in the Upper Denkyira West District lynched him for spotting a gun on him.
The soldier was in the community to help combat galamsey as President Akufo-Addo promised to eradicate the social menace.
Today marks exactly two years since the demise of Major Maxwell Adams Mahama.
Government has honoured him with a 20ft monument mounted at the Airpot Hills roundabout which is to be unveiled today.
Barbara Mahama, widow of the late soldier has taken to her Instagram page to celebrate the two year anniversary of the Ghanaian hero.
Barbara has as well advised Ghanaians to live up to expectation so they’re remembered when they are dead and gone.
According to her, it is the only thing that is keeping her, the children and the family sane.
