Television anchor Bridget Otoo has thrown shade at Charterhouse for their poor handling of the Stonebwoy-Shatta Wale issue.
The story that never dies is still making headlines nearly one week after it occured as Ghanaians continue to dissect the issue and brainstorm the way forward.
Sarkodie has waded into the affair and called for more sponsors to help Charterhouse so they stop selling tickets to the public for the show.
However, Bridget Otoo says nobody can put their money into the program when Charterhouse behaves like a cult, doing everything inside and without transparency.
Before an outside entity would think of investing in you, you have to be transparent and upfront and Charterhouse has not demonstrated that.
Otoo wrote on twitter, in response to Sarkodie calling for more sponsorship for the VGMAs: “Sark, I keep hearing this line over and over. How much money would be enough for Charter house? So we even know how much @VodafoneGhana invests? Donthey make their financial records public? You can’t ask for more funds when you are running a secret society!” she fumed.
“How much did @VodafoneGhana invest in the 20th anniversary. You really believe Charter house when they sing “we don’t have money, we didn’t get sponsors” if Ghana music isn’t profitable they should abandon it and let another company run it!.
“If Charter house is complaining about sponsorship, they should abandon Ghana music for another company .. I bet you they won’t cos Ghana music awards is what is sustaining the company!” she ranted.
