Charterhouse Has No Right Stripping Shatta Wale And Stonebwoy Off Their Awards After Their Fans Voted For Them’ — Entertainment Critic Ashes

Published by

Charterhouse, the main organizers of Vodafone Ghana Music Awards a few hours ago, announced that two of our artiste, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been indefinitely banned from participating in VGMA events.

Charterhouse did not only ban them but also asked them to return every single award given to them on that fateful day.

This decision taken by Charterhouse follows Shatta Wale’s attacked on Stonebwoy with his militants on stage which forced him (Stonebwoy) to also pull a gun publicly as an attempt to defend himself.

Well, Ghanaians are not happy with this decision taken by the board. One popular entertainment pundit, Ashes has stated during an interview on Hitz FM’s afternoon news that Charterhouse has no right to strip their awards from them because it was their fans who voted for them.

He added that if the board has taken back their awards then they should return the hard earned monies  Ghanaians used to vote for their artistes.
