Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale Make First Court Appearance — All the Details of What Happened

Dancehall duo Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale appeared in court today, Wednesday, May 22nd, to face charges stemming from their actions on the night of the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The two dancehall behemoths are both facing charges of offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace, with Stonebwoy facing an additional charge of displaying a firearm in public without permission.

The two both pleaded not guilty to the charges during their appearance before Magistrate Isaac Addo.

The judge granted them both bail in the sum of Ghc 50,000 with one surety each.

The two were also cautioned to be on good behaviour for the duration of the case.

The trial continues on June 20th 2019. Another ‘foolish case’ in the making.
