Fatherly Love: ‘My Son Is Known For Climbing Stages To Surprise His Rivals, He Didn’t Go There To Cause Any Harm’ — Shatta Capo Defends His Son

On the unfortunate incident that happened at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA20) event centre after two of our artistes dirtied themselves and disgraced Ghana as a nation, Shatta Capo has something to say about his son’s behaviour.

According to Shatta Wale’s father, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Snr, popularly known as Shatta Capo, his son was not going to the stage to make any confusion with his ‘cousin’, Stonebwoy.

He said, “He wasn’t walking out to the stage’, he used the award that was given to Stonebwoy to relocate to my area where I sat and even it was one of his crew members who suggested he should use that as an advantage to make peace with Stonebwoy Wale’s father said.

Shatta Capo, however, added that Shatta is full of surprises, he climbed the stage to congratulate Stonebwoy during the 2015 VGMA so it wasn’t something new.
