Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale
Organizers of the 20th edition of VGMA, Charterhouse, has confirmed that, both Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy spent their May 19th, 2019 in police custody.
A report by Charterhouse confirms the two artists were invited by the police for investigations into the fuss which happened at the 2019 VGMA, but got detained by the Accra Police Command.
According to sources, there hasn’t been any charges against them yet after spending a whole night in the custody.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale’s father has confirmed his son spent last night in police custody.
Background
There was a mayhem on the eleventh hour when Stonebwoy was named the winner for ‘Reggae Dancehall Artist of the Year’.
For whatever reason Shatta Wale and his encourage proceeded to the Stage when Stonebwoy was about giving his acceptance speech.
Stonebwoy fearing for his life pulled a gun which escalated an already gone bad scene of the night.
Fight ensued between fans of the two artists, bringing the event to a pause.
