John Dumelo
The confusion that occurred during Saturday night’s VGMAs led to some very prominent personalities being forced to put on their running shoes and bolting from the arena to avoid any trouble.
Kwame Sefa Kayi has already revealed that the British High Commissioner to Ghana, Iain Walker, was one of the first to ‘vanish’ from the auditorium and actor John Dumelo was not that far behind.
Dumelo, who was with actress Jackie Appiah at the time, reportedly bolted and left the poor actress to face the music by herself when the confusion started.
Called today to explain himself about what exactly happened, Dumelo ‘clarified’ that he did not leave Jackie behind but she chose to stay behind.
Dumelo also said he did not run but simply walked quickly to get away from the danger zone.
