‘Kumi Guitar and Dada Hafco Should Have Stormed the Stage when Shatta Wale Won Highlife Song of the Year’ — Zapp Mallet Slams ‘Gbee Naabu’

Legendary music producer Zapp Mallet has descended heavily on Shatta Wale for his decision to storm the stage of the VGMAs when Stonebwoy was receiving his award for Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the Year.

Mallet is the latest Ghanaian to attack either of those two artists for their childish actions which threatened the lives of all who visited the dome to witness the VGMA night.

Targeting Shatta Wale specifically, Mallet said his actions were appaling and that he should have understood one person cannot win every award.

Using an analogy, he said if Shatta Wale thinks he was robbed of the award Stonebwoy won, then what should Kumi Guitar and Dada Hafco do about losing Highlife song of the Year to a dancehall artist?

“It’s a sad day for Ghana music…Shatta’s conduct was very appalling …why was he going on the stage? Some people think awards belong to them… Kumi Guitar and Dada Hafco should’ve all stormed the stage when Shatta won the Highlife song of the year,” Mallet fumed.

“One person can not win all the awards…you will win and lose some, that’s how it goes.” he added.
