Organizers of VGMA, Charterhouse, has assured that, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy will receive sanction after pulling a brawl at the 20th edition of their annual award event.
According to the organizers, the act by the two artistes is uncalled-for, and thus break the terms and conditions of the premier music awards event.
In a statement issued by Charterhouse, there are “punitive measures” when those terms and conditions are flouted.
They have hence promised in the statement to come up with sanctions for the two musicians.
“Charterhouse and the board have taken serious exception to the incident that happened at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and thus would ensure that the needed sanctions are applied,”
“Being a special edition of the annual ceremony, months of planning had gone into giving the world a breath-taking event. Sadly, however, we were unable to give the full experience we had hoped to give as a result of this breach,” Charterhouse noted.
Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale are now the subject online after the two indulged in a scuffle during the 2019 VGMA.
After Stonebwoy was adjudged winner of the ‘Dancehall Act Of The Year’, Shatta Wale and his Multitude followed on to the stage which resulted in a fight where Stonebwoy pulled a gun.
