On the back of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy’s fight during the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards on Saturday, May 18, 2019, female Dancehall musician, Kaakie has blasted Shatta Wale for his barbaric behaviour on the night after he lost for the 5th time, the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ award to Stonebwoy.
Shatta Wale had earlier on bagged 2 awards in the categories, ‘Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year’ with ‘Gringo’ and ‘Highlife song of the Year’ with ‘My Level’.
Shatta Wale and his SM gang for reasons best known to them walked on the stage after Stonebwoy climbed the stage to give his acceptance speech for winning ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ ─ and that’s when the confusion started with Stonebwoy pulling out a gun ─ apparently, to defend himself from Wale and his hoodlums.
Mind you, Shatta Wale had earlier on posted on his Facebook page about his intentions to repeat what happened in 2013 when Kaakie beat him to win the same award.
Kaaki in a video recalled how Shatta Wale nearly harmed her in 2012 after she won the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ and blasted him for being a jerk!
Kaakie says if Shatta Wale wants to be crowned ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ then he should sit his as* down and work hard towards it.
