The pressure being mounted on Ghana Police especially the Criminal Investigations Department concerning the case of the missing Takoradi girls is so high to the extent that even their boss had to lie to Ghanaians to ease the tension on them.

In fact, majority of Ghanaians are losing hope and trust in Ghana Police when it comes to fishing out criminals in the nation. Yes on social media, they are now being called ‘Mara manka a, gyede nfe ampem’, meaning if a criminal doesn’t confess, it will take them 1000 years or even more to fish out a criminal.

The CID Boss, Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah childishly or unprofessionally if I may say, played with the minds of Ghanaians about the whereabouts of the missing three Takoradi girls.

According to her, she lied to us in her past comments just to keep the hopes of the families alive.

This has sparked anger on social media where Ghanaians are angrily calling for her immediate resignation because she has completely lost her credibility.

On a more serious note, she could have said something better to calm us down than to lie to the whole nation concerning issues like that.
