Established Artists Like Kuami Eugene Steal Lyrics from Underground Artists All the Time — Docta Flow Alleges

Kuami Eugene was recently embroiled in yet another song stealing allegation from artist/producer Docta Flow.

Docta Flow alleged that the ‘Confusion’ hitmaker had stolen some lyrics he wrote for a song they once worked on and used it in another song he released with Okyeame Kwame.

In a sharp response, Richie, CEO of Lynx, said Docta Flow is a liar but Kuami Eugene is the one who wrote the lyrics and not the other day round.

He also said that Flow is doing all he is for attention.

In an interview on GhOne Tv’s Rhythms Live Friday afternoon, Docta Flow rubbished Richie’s words.

“Richie has either been uninformed or misinformed. Kuami Eugene didn’t write that song for me, he didn’t write those lines for me. I did everything myself,” the artist cum producer said.

According to him, he wrote the lyrics and Kuami Eugene stole them, something which he said is a common occurrence in the music industry between underground artists and their more established counterparts.

“There are a lot of songs that people have taken already but because they’re not given attention, then it’s just there. Who speaks for the underground artists?” he wondered.

Flow added that fighting for his fellow underground artists is why he’s taking on Kuami Eugene, and not for hype as Richie Mensah alleged.

He called for the media and other stakeholders to come together and fight this canker in the industry and help the underground artists protect their creative content.

For an artist who’s just starting his career, Kuami Eugene has been involved in way too many plagiarism accusations. If it’s something he truly does he needs to stop it ASAP.
