One of the biggest issues facing Ghana is the spectre of unemployment, which afflicts the youth most especially but certainly affects other segments of the population as well.
Many successive governments have all promised to help fight the menace but have all failed to do so, either through sheer incompetence or lack of trying after winning power, who knows?
For a country where even those working find it difficult to make ends meet, being unemployed is pure unadulterated hell. Yet there seems to be no solution in sight.
To help alleviate some of these issues, the People’s Project Initiative, which was started by controversial artist and political activist A-Plus, has decided to provide aid to some people interested in starting their own businesses.
The People’s Project Start-Up Capital Initiative provides start-up capital to selected businessmen/women to help them kickstart their businesses.
A Plus posted about one of their recent donations on Instagram. In that instance, they provided two people with a total of Ghc 1,300 to help them start their respective businesses.
The People’s Project Initiative is a project aimed at mobilizing the people to take action in the face of political inaction from those in power.
