Stonebwoy is Right, He’s one of the Best Dancehall Artists in Africa — Entertainment Critic Ola Michael

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have been going at each other for so long we never know if it’ll ever end. Between the two of them, there’s no doubt Shatta Wale is the more outgoing one who is always bragging about himself and how he has no peer in the industry.

Stonebwoy recently also decided to praise himself and remind everyone what he has achieved in his career. He declared himself the best dancehall act on the continent and used his BET and Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards as evidence of his supremacy.

Some critics have slammed Stonebwoy for blowing his own horn in that fashion. According to them, it’s unseemly for him to be doing something like that when Shatta Wale is always criticized for doing the same thing.

However, entertainment critic Ola Michael, in a chat on Hitz Fm, said he doesn’t see anything wrong with Stonebwoy showing confidence in himself for once.

“I don’t see anything wrong with what he did, he was in a very excited mood,” Michael said.

He also said that he believes Stonebwoy has worked hard and deserves to describe himself as one of the best of the continent, considering all the awards he has won and the massive international collaborations he is able to land without effort.

“See all the collaborations and works he’s doing. People don’t really pay attention to the success he has been achieving across the world,” he added.
