The build-up to the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is on and as usual most of the nominees are campaigning and urging their fans on their social media platforms to vote massively for them to win big at the yet-to-be-held awards ceremony.
In light of the above, Tamale-based rapper, Maccasio in an interview on TV disclosed that his 69 fans army are working hard and voting to make sure that he beats Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Samini to win “Reggae Dancehall Song of the Year” award.
Maccasio in the interview revealed that a fan sold his television set to buy more airtime to vote for him and aside from that, a lot of people keep sending him cash and airtime to distribute to his fans to vote for him.
“My people are voting, someone sold his television set to vote for me, everyday thousands of votes, people are sending me money sending me credit to give people to vote”, he said.
Maccasio doubts he may beat Stonebwoy, Samini and Shatta Wale to win since the board and that academy has 60% say in who deserves the award.
