There is no single musician in the entertainment industry who was not inspired by someone or had no plans before taking that step to become a musician. One way or the other, they all have their reasons.
As for the Tema-based uprising singer, Kwesi Arthur, he took his inspirations from the popular Canadian rapper and songwriter, Aubrey Drake Graham, known in the entertainment industry as Drake.
According to him, “I am making music because of Drake, I fell in love with his track, “Thank Me Later” that made me fall in love with Hip-hop. You know Drake made me feel like rapping was so easy…” he said this during an interview with an American presenter, Ibrahim Ebro Darden on Apple’s Beats 1 music radio station.
