In an interview with Kasapa Entertainment Show with Kojo Preko Dankwa, he says nonetheless, if and when highlife artist Bessa Simons wins the contest and becomes the next MUSIGA president, things would get out of hands for the worst.
“If Bessa Simons says he will contest for the National President of MUSIGA, then we have a very long way to go, Trust me. I love Bessa so much but it’s like when one finishes his tenure, he get a successor to handover to prevent being thoroughly audited,” he said.
“One thing I have realized with the way things are going is that, when one doesn’t want his track to be uncovered, he gets his favourite to cover up for him. At the close of the day, others will go behind closed doors and make payment to become the President,” he added.
On why he has been radio silence on all of this, he claimed he wanted to protect the little reputation he has built for himself over the years.
“It has become something like, we those in the music and movie industry are always washing our dirty linen in public. Besides, at my current age, it wouldn’t be prudent for me to be roaming from one radio station to another and also to avoid people from misconstruing my statements. So I decided to save my little integrity left but our industry has a big problem especially GHAMRO,” he explained.
