Unlike Shatta Wale who is busily sharing credit to his fans to get massive votes to win awards at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Rapper TeePhlow says to hell with VGMA’s.
According to the rapper, he has no money to buy credit for his fans in the name of getting the majority of votes to win an award at this year’s VGMA’s.
TeePhlow in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central in Cape Coast said;
“We are doing the best we can do to bring the award but at the end of the day, we can’t do everything. Obviously, I can’t buy credit for people to vote like Sarkodie will do. I can’t do it alone so we have to do it together”.
He then urged his fans to support him by voting massively for him to win the “Best Rapper” and “Song Writer” awards since the VGMA’s is based on votes.

“Every category that has to do with voting takes collective effort to win. Anytime you see an artist nominated for category that has to do with voting, the winner is the one that had most votes.
So the only way we can win is to come together and vote across board. Most times people will be saying ‘this year Teephlow go take am’ but we don’t use mouth to win an award but votes. I have done my part as an artist so it has left with the fans to vote so that we can carry the awards”, he said.
