Apparently, Patapaa’s European tour was nothing to write home about ─I mean it yielded no fruit judging from videos of his performances during the tour.
GhanaCelebrities.com through its reliable sources published an article about how the “One Corner” hitmaker smoked marijuana worth €80 in 4 days ─even though profits from his shows which were attended by about 11 fans or less didn’t reap in €100.
Now, the promoter behind his European tour, CEO of Young Mission Entertainment, Nana Amoako in an exclusive interview on SVTV’s “We Dey Vibe” with DJ Nyaami has slammed Patapaa for being ungrateful ─and added that he has regretted working with him.
The promoter, Nana Amoako opening up on Patapaa’s ungratefulness in Europe comes on the back of Patapaa accusing him of not paying what’s due him after the tour.
Nana Amoako responding to Patapaa’s threat to sue him for not paying him revealed that;
“Initially I didn’t want to work with Patapaa but I changed my mind later. I’ve done lots of work for Patapaa for free, so if by any chance there is a money issue, which I told you I’ll sort you out even if the Norway promoter refuses to pay. You shouldn’t go out there and be tarnishing my image, Patapaa is an ungrateful artist and I regret working with him, this will be last time I’ll be working with him”.
He also lamented over the troubles Patapaa gave him during his European tour, he said;
“Tell you what, Patapaa gave me a lot of trouble while in Europe but out of respect for artists, Young Mission Entertainment, we didn’t say anything because it’s part of the business so we just overlooked it and move on”.
Nana Amoako concluded that even though he is not responsible for Patapaa’s payment but if the Norwegian promoter refuses to pay him, he will personally pay Patapaa what’s due him by the close of the week.
